Love all the pics! Dobby in the sweater is just too cute! I just love reading all of these chi rescue threads. Makes me want one REALLY bad, but I have 3 dogs already.

But, we need more pics of Maisy!!! I'm shamlessly begging for them now.

I have a Chi-Baby! My daughter is a vet tech and an abused 8-week old, 1 pound baby came in. She called and said "Mom, she needs you." That was all she wrote.

Ella is now 8 months old and weighs in at 3 pounds full of wiggly happiness.

Oh wow!!!!
I'm so glad your baby is doing well now, Emerald.

On a different note:
I feel horrible about something that just happened, but at least now we know.
We were outside a little while ago playing with the dogs. Our GS and Pom love playing fetch, so we were tossing sticks for them to chase after.
I picked up a twig for Dobby to "fetch" and he completely bent in on himself. Poor baby definitely does NOT like sticks and has good reason if his reaction is anything to go by.
I immediately picked him up for a cuddle. He's tail-wagging again.

How very sad about Dobby, Gaby. Breaks my heart.

I will NEVER understand the cruelty that humans can inflict on a helpless animal. Whether something happened to Dobby from his previous owners, or while he was on the streets, NOBODY should have subjected that poor little thing to any end of a stick.

Bless you again for taking in this beautiful soul and showing little Dobby the warmth and love of a REAL home.

Saw another abandoned chi story on the news last night. Someone dumped a chi on the LA freeway and it was stuck on top of the concrete divider. A policeman coaxed him off using a granola bar. I hate people sometimes.

Itainteasy - Boost is adorable!!!!

TooTrusting - Thank you. We feel lucky to have Dobby with us. He's such a sweet little guy and he's even won over my son (who loves dogs, but is not particularly a chi fan ).

Saw another abandoned chi story on the news last night. Someone dumped a chi on the LA freeway and it was stuck on top of the concrete divider. A policeman coaxed him off using a granola bar. I hate people sometimes.

My husband and I saw this story over the weekend too and we'd both like 5 minutes alone with the person who left that poor dog on the freeway...

Thanks for the hugs for Dobby. He has definitely wiggled his tiny little way into our hearts. On a pleasant note, he LOVES stuffed animals, particularly if they're about his size or larger. So he's got a few friends to cuddle with while we're at work.

So we might have to rename Boswell to Linus because he has taken to dragging his blanket (which is 6'x4'!) around with him wherever he goes.

It is the cutest thing ever!

BTW, how do I post a video? Or can I post video? Boswell meows and I have it recorded.
