The house was tainted. Let her have it and the debt that goes with it.

You'll soon be in a position one day to own your own home again. Maybe it will be a condo or townhouse or duplex or tiny little ranch. Whatever.

But it will be a clean start and the house will be yours and yours alone, untouched by so-called women who have no morals whatsoever and rut like pigs with anyone who'll have them. No loss there.

Be careful - that 'knight in shining armor' may very well be nothing more than an assclown wrapped in tin foil.

Of course you feel that way, and here's the thing: you did it before, getting through school, focussing on the things that were important to you, you know how to do it, and you will do it again. Whatever you want: a nice house and a nice garage, enough money to live in the way you wish, you can have what you want. You are starting from a clean bottom. Hopefully soon you will move through this phase (and I think it just happens, naturally) and you will be able to focus all that energy that you are giving them now--on you and your upward climb. You will look back at this time as when you really turned your life around and all good things started coming your way. At least, that's what I think. I'm not a fortune teller--but I think this is what naturally happens in the recovery process, if we allow it to. Hang in there!!!
