You handled that perfectly. I am inspired. My XWH likes to drop hints in his emails to me as well; he got really pissed when he said there was a "death in the family," and I asked his mother who it was! He then sent me a frosty, condescending email about how it was none of my business, I unnecessarily worried his mother, blah blah blah. She probably called and asked him who it was and then lectured him on not telling me directly, and it hurt his widdle feelings.

Next time I get one of his cryptic emails, I'm just going to think SURGERY. It will make me laugh and remind me not to engage!

Maybe he needed surgery for getting arse in his eye from having his head up there for so long.

Cranial rectal removal is tricky business and rarely successful. I believe it is terminal. I wish it would make them silent.

I love it how he berates him for not going but all is well because he didn't bother to turn up either. Fuckwit.

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!
