I read through that post and I remembered something I thought about at one time. What do the OPs friends think of us, if the OP actually tells them the truth that is. Even, and probably especially if the friend never experienced cheating. I know their friends, their own opinions, but it's nice to think that some of their friends could hear the story and end up on your side instead of the OPs side.

I become somewhat friends with a co worker of ow's and.I often wondered if she knew and if she wanted to tell me. We weren't close enough friends where I felt comfortable asking her. The only friend I knew she had, was screwing my ws, married best friend..so doubt if she was in my corner. However hat is something to think about, I mean I forget that ow has a life besides the life that f**ked mine up.

Years ago a friend of mine (married) told me she was in an EA with a MOM and they were both planning to leave their spouses for each other. I was disgusted and horrified with her and attempted to council her to behave better. This was long before I had any personal experience with As.

I told her they had 24 hrs to come clean to the spouses or I would tell... unfortunately the MOM didn't tell his wife so I had to. OMG, so awful!

Anyway, I never spoke to that "friend" again.

So some of us friends of OPs definitely take the BS side, even when we are inexperienced with As.

I do wonder about their friends. I wonder if the OW talked to her friends and told them the same lies and bullsh*t my WS said about me and if her friends blindly believed what she said, or if any of them saw right through it and just didnít say anything. I wonder if any of her friends distanced themselves, or spoke up and stood up for me.

Part of me likes to believe that anyone who would choose to be friends with her probably doesnít have much integrity of values of their own either. Another part of me knows that I have had friends who have cheated- and when I was younger, I said nothing as well. I wonder if any of her friends came to SI (or a different forum) and asked the same questions that I see posted here.

I have been cheated on by 3 different men, and I have more DDays than anyone ever should. I am here, just trying to pickup the pieces.

At least the current man "only" cyber-cheated.
