How about macaroni and gruyere with bacon that has endured a 3 hour motorcycle ride?

With all due respect Williesmom, I understand that Pitt has had trouble lately( ) but there is NOTHING better than College Football.

That would be College Basketball...
more specifically,
Kentucky Basketball...

We got more total wins than you
(or anyone) out west there...
We're creeping up on Championships is all
(Dear Coach Wooden)...

It'll be OUR trophy
here.
Next year.
(you heard it here first)

Year 2 as an Iowa Hawkeye fan for me. Here's to hoping for a big year for my step brother.

I'm thinking about buying Arizona season tickets since I live a mile from the stadium now. :)

knightsbff posted 6/15/2014 22:59 PM

Are you coming to Death Valley (Deaf Valley) Jpapa?

I think I missed something, h0peless. A Hawkeye fan? They allow those in your neck of the woods?

My step brother plays for them. It's a temporary thing. I don't know if I could stay sane watching three yards up the middle and a cloud of dust for much more than four years.

Jpapageorge posted 6/16/2014 04:03 AM

KBFF, I will be proudly wearing my Cal(Go Bears) tie-dye inside Tiger Stadium.

knightsbff posted 6/16/2014 09:30 AM

We will have to go too....and TAILGATE PARTY!!!!!!

sunsetslost posted 6/16/2014 09:52 AM

I worked at the University of Tennessee in athletics for 5 years. There is nothing like college football. Lee Corso almost ran me over in his rental car inside Thompson Boling Arena once when Gameday was there.

And I'll save you all the time. I know they stink on ice now. Save the smarty comments.......

Go Vols!

Personally, I hope an asteroid lands on the field and takes both teams out.

Jpapageorge posted 6/16/2014 17:07 PM

KBFF, we are relying on you and Knight to point us in the right direction for the best "only the locals know about it" grub.

Sunset, I saw South Carolina and Florida at Neyland. So far my buddy and I have been to Notre Dame Stadium, Michigan Stadium, Jordan-Hare Stadium and Williams-Brice Stadium for games.

HFSSC, I might have to rethink my Xmas card to you since I will be in the stadium when your wished for asteroid hits. ( )

HFSSC posted 6/16/2014 17:34 PM

Well, Jpapa, I just want the field and the teams knocked out. I have nothing against the fans. Y'all can survive.

Overheard at a Green Bay Packers @ Indianapolis Colts game, rather pre game in the hotel bar. Vilings and Bears were the early game on TV. Two Packer fans:

One: "Well, who do we root for in this one?"

Two: "Scoreless tie. Lots of injuries."

I bought the next round.

sunsetslost posted 6/16/2014 18:01 PM

Overheard in Nashville for a Music City Bowl beer line:

Auburn fan (to a group of Wisconsin fans) "WE'RE KICKIN YER ASS!!!!"

Wisconsin fan's calm reply: "Oh yeah? Well we're gonna drink this town out of beer. Then what are you gonna do?"

Again, I bought.
