There's three people in the world that I could step over their thrashing dying body: OW, my Mom's AP and ex boss. This man would throw his grandmother under the bus to get ahead. He left the endowed chairmenship of my department and became the chief medical officer of the Great Southwest University Hospital. What an arrogant prick. I think he's managed to offend every physician on staff. At the end of 2011 there was a poster in the physicians lounge bragging about all the awards and improvements for the year. Número uno was Dr. Arrogant Prick, chief medical officer, was hired.
In early 2014 he managed to piss off the only neurosurgical group in town. That's right. Now GSUH has no neurological services. All brain surgery is now being done across the street at Ginormous Religious Hospitall, the hated competition.
I had noticed over the last few months that Dr. Prick wasn't looking so good. He's lost weight, hair is graying, face looks sallow, etc. You know what happened next right? Yep. Dr. Prick was diagnosed with a 4 cm brain tumor. And he has pissed off every neurosurgeon within a 100 miles of here.
So Dr. Prick has to travel SIX hours away to another medical school to have his brain surgery. He's very lucky as it was benign and they got all off it. Still he's having to convalesce 300 miles from home because he's such a Jackwagon, Karma folks. Karma.

Wow, that is the BEST story of burnt bridges I've ever heard!
I'm also going to keep this in mind when I'm about to piss someone off.

The Board of GSUH must be feeling pretty *proud* of their choice about now, huh?
Dr. Prick was diagnosed with a 4 cm brain tumor. And he has pissed off every neurosurgeon within a 100 miles of here.
Can you imagine the look on his face when he got his diagnosis? Talk about your all-time "OH SHIT" moment!

OMG, if this isn't karma perfection, there never will be! Do you think he will learn anything from it?

I would think that professional ethics would require the neurological department at Ginormous Religious Hospital to treat him regardless of how they feel about him.
(I could also see the brain surgeons playing around with his brain like that Expedia commercial just for fun too).
I would like to see him have to explain why he is traveling so far away for his surgery and have to admit that his piss poor treatment of everyone caused this.

Don't you love it? I have a former prick of a boss that I thoroughly enjoying hearing from colleagues how he keeps getting his karma paybacks repeatedly. It makes me chuckle every time!
