yop, you have a drinking problem. Most of those are near full.

That is an impressive array of beverages sir. I am not a whiskey guy but I kinda want to be after looking at that.

you know...everyone mentions my drinking, but no one seems to mention my thirst!

Happy 4th gents! Nothing says 4th of July like my Gadsden flag t shirt. In fact, I think this is a very appropriate t shirt for this menz thread. I think more gents around here should be wearing it.

Now I'm making some Moonshine cocktails. Anyone want one? Nothing says 4th and USA like moonshine. I've got some American Apple Pie for shots that we will be doing shortly and some Cranberry Moonshine for Cranberry cocktails and tonics. Who's having what?

Have a happy and safe 4th gents!

yop

eta - looks like the hurricane rain just kicked in here. Will be drinking inside so the cocktails don't get watered down with the rain. But we can still use the pool

Happy 4th of July from the Centennial State, gentlemen! I hope you are all able to enjoy your day. I am getting ready to light up the grill.

Yeah, you know that one is for you, JJ.

How's that moonshine working out for you, yop? Looks tasty!

I don't know if I mentioned this, but my lovely wife getting_real got me the most expensive, most awesome fucking weber charcoal grill they make. it's amazing.

Today, ONLY TODAY, I discovered hickory mesquite wood chunks. It's like I am back in the Adirondacks cooking shit for dinner. I don't know if I can go back to charcoal now.

Beer is involved. Also, World War Z has to be the DUMBEST FUCKING ZOMBIE MOVIE EVER MADE. I INCLUDE THE ZOMBIE PORNS IN THAT. FUCK YOU WHOEVER WROTE THAT SHIT.

It's been a good day of golf, beer, sun, and doing it all with my wife. Throw in the Llama and midget, couldn't of been more perfect.

slh, where the fuck did you get that? I have only seen self righteous ale and black IPA, never that combo.

That's a rhetorical question expressing my awe and wonderment really.

Also, my sons are awesome. They are down at their grandparents, and on the phone I listened to them bitch about how annoying they were to each other. Then when Son The Younger got upset and crying because he couldn't find his stuffy and his kindle, Son the Elder set his shit aside to hug him and find his shit for him. My sons are fucking awesome. I feel good knowing my goal that they grow up better people than me is already met.

Yup.

They took a great geopolitical disaster response book...and promptly did it right up the poop chute in the name of summer blockbuster-style high capitalism.

A bag of dicks for everyone involved with that nonsense, except the Pitt; he made Fight Club.

Haven't read the book or seen the movie. My boss told me that the book was awesome and the movie sucked. He's generally pretty good about these types of calls, too. Seems to go along with what yous guys are saying.

I have one of those Sublimely Self Righteous black IPA's in the fridge. I'm going to have to pop that open later. SLHer seems to be having some pretty amazing taste in brews these days. \m/

Have to whole heartedly agree with that. The book was great, but like usual Hollywood got it wrong. It's always the flashy visuals and loud bangs with them. They just can't tell a story with just people.I'm still gagging on the detritus of "I Am Legend". Will there ever be a worthwhile film version of that story made?

'Preciate that, sir.
I really enjoyed that Sublimely last night, I had one about a week ago and it was calling to me. Quite a bit different than the rest of Stone's line up. I've been trying to expand my beer profile horizons, by attempting to NOT buy the same beer twice, unfortunately my local availability isn't the greatest. Also, some of these craft beers are just too tastey to not go back to. Like Firehouse Walker's Double Jack, that's some good shit, got one of those for tonight.

Been trying to locate some Founders myself. No luck.
I'd love to get my hands on some FW Stickee Monkey, no luck there either. Oh well, the search is half the fun, lots of stops along the way. I've heard California has more than their fair share of quality craft brews, so I consider myself lucky in that regard.

Founder's definitely has some good stuff. We can most of it around here.

I donít know where you are in CA....but thereís a brewery in San Diego (Green Flash) that puts out some fantastic beer that has made it's way to Georgia:

West Coast IPA; Palate Wrecker; Hop Head Red

I'm a good trek from SD, but we do actually have an acclaimed brewery not Ten minutes from my house, haven't checked it out yet, soon though.

That Victory DirtWolf is a really fine IPA. Don't think I've seen any Founder's here in Colorado.

You guys are making me thirsty.

At the moment....this is my favorite beer.

When I make a beer run...it's difficult to not walk out with a 4-pack in my hand.
