I'm 99% positive I have some form of UTI. I've been diagnosed before without any symptoms. I drink A LOT of water. Anyway this time I've had some irritation. Suspected it Sunday, symptoms seemed to clear Monday, then the last couple days I've had fever, chills, fatigue, loss of appetite and the urinary issues are back.

I need to find a new primary as my former doesn't accept my new insurance. Earliest I can take time off would be Wednesday.

Or I can just pop into the local minute clinic after work today.

Would a minute clinic suffice? I alternate between thinking it's not a big deal and will pass on its own, and thinking it's spread to my kidneys and I'm going to be rendered infertile.

Minute clinic!

I'm not a medical person but I think UTIs are pretty easy to diagnose. You don't want to wait until Wednesday!

Get some cranberry pills and 100% cranberry juice too.

UTI symptoms with fever aren't something to take lightly. I'd get to the urgent care clinic.

Definitely hit an Urgent Care, Minute Clinic, whatever with fevers and chills it can turn into more than just a bladder infection, and sister when it goes to your kidneys it is no fun, and saving the few bucks going to the clinic suddenly becomes an emergency room visit or a day or two in the hospital.

Take care of yourself go wee in a cup, and get some antibiotics. Get yourself some Azo as well. Start drinking lots and lots now.

Yes go to the clinic. You don't need to see your primary care physician and they can test your urine there. I do recommend finding a new primary sooner rather than later however because we've found that continuity of care is important

Hit up the urgent care, just a UTI and on antibiotics now. I'll find a new doc next week. Thanks everyone.

Crest hope you are feeling better. Please make an appointment with who ever you choose for your new PCP. There is often a several month wait list. Some of my Dr's have a 3 month wait for new patients right now!!!!
