Anybody up for another AZ G2G? It's a little hot right now but thinking Step/Oct would be cooler and perfect for a G2G. Was thinking dinner and maybe dancing this time.

G2G and dancing sounds like my cup of tea. I am not sure I could make it out but I'll be keeping tabs on this.

We love dancing. Our oldest will be in school by then and be in the middle of cheering for football season. But I'll keep watch and see if we can make this work into our schedule.

Well then, let the suggestions begin on what and where. I'll be checking around for ideas too!

Crescita, to answer your question, I'm still looking into it.

But, just wanted to bump this up in case others thought of where to do this and what to do besides dinner or lunch.

I'm very open to suggestions...as I have no ideas Yet.

There used to be a dancing place in Tucson called Gotham but they closed it after a bunch of people got shot after a Too Short concert.

How about a casino?

Hmm, that could work. I know there is a club at Wild Horse. Of course we still have to factor in the fact that h0peless and I aren't much for dancing

I am going to keep tabs on this too. Family is in Tucson area and may be visiting them. Might try to coordinate it.

Hmmm, just got back to SI and checked this out. A casino sounds good. I know some have shows afterwards and decent restaurants as well. I'll look into it.

Next question, which city do y'all suggest. Last time was in Glendale, but I'm always game to travel a bit.

I think Wild Horse Pass is a really, really good idea. The rooms are really nice, it isn't too far for us Tucson folk and there is plenty to do besides dancing. I would totally be down to take a long weekend and spend it there.

It's the one JUST before you get to Ahwatukee on the I-10. Probably almost as far for people living in the West Valley as it is for people in Tucson, but it's really nice and not terribly expensive.

Hope you guys have fun. Due to some circumstance changes it doesn't look like we will be traveling further than grocery shopping for quite some time. Too bad. We really love dancing.
