Anybody up for another AZ G2G? It's a little hot right now but thinking Step/Oct would be cooler and perfect for a G2G. Was thinking dinner and maybe dancing this time.

h0peless posted 7/28/2014 22:30 PM

If it involves dancing, you can definitely count me out!

StillLivin posted 7/28/2014 23:08 PM

Oh no, you are coming!!!!! I'll teach you easy steps so you can impress the ladies!!!! But you ARE coming if I have to come and get you.

hurtfornow posted 7/29/2014 03:34 AM

Haven't been on in a while, but I'm totally down for an AZ g2g!

MovingUpward posted 7/29/2014 08:53 AM

G2G and dancing sounds like my cup of tea. I am not sure I could make it out but I'll be keeping tabs on this.

musiclovingmom posted 7/29/2014 09:16 AM

We love dancing. Our oldest will be in school by then and be in the middle of cheering for football season. But I'll keep watch and see if we can make this work into our schedule.

StillLivin posted 7/29/2014 15:32 PM

Well then, let the suggestions begin on what and where. I'll be checking around for ideas too!

Crescita posted 7/29/2014 17:46 PM

Where does one going dancing in AZ? I went to Graham Central once. It's closed now

StillLivin posted 8/14/2014 14:39 PM

Crescita, to answer your question, I'm still looking into it.
But, just wanted to bump this up in case others thought of where to do this and what to do besides dinner or lunch.
I'm very open to I have no ideas Yet.

h0peless posted 8/14/2014 15:07 PM

There used to be a dancing place in Tucson called Gotham but they closed it after a bunch of people got shot after a Too Short concert.

momentintime posted 8/15/2014 01:32 AM

How about a casino?

Crescita posted 8/15/2014 12:13 PM

How about a casino?

Hmm, that could work. I know there is a club at Wild Horse. Of course we still have to factor in the fact that h0peless and I aren't much for dancing

Must Survive posted 8/15/2014 12:58 PM

I am going to keep tabs on this too. Family is in Tucson area and may be visiting them. Might try to coordinate it.

StillLivin posted 8/18/2014 20:19 PM

Hmmm, just got back to SI and checked this out. A casino sounds good. I know some have shows afterwards and decent restaurants as well. I'll look into it.

StillLivin posted 8/18/2014 22:45 PM

Next question, which city do y'all suggest. Last time was in Glendale, but I'm always game to travel a bit.

h0peless posted 8/18/2014 23:07 PM

I think Wild Horse Pass is a really, really good idea. The rooms are really nice, it isn't too far for us Tucson folk and there is plenty to do besides dancing. I would totally be down to take a long weekend and spend it there.

tired girl posted 8/19/2014 21:58 PM

Noooooo dancing

Where is wild horse pass again?

h0peless posted 8/19/2014 22:34 PM

It's the one JUST before you get to Ahwatukee on the I-10. Probably almost as far for people living in the West Valley as it is for people in Tucson, but it's really nice and not terribly expensive.

musiclovingmom posted 8/22/2014 12:08 PM

Hope you guys have fun. Due to some circumstance changes it doesn't look like we will be traveling further than grocery shopping for quite some time. Too bad. We really love dancing.

ImGonnaMakeIt posted 8/22/2014 12:56 PM

I'm down for a G2G. Keep me in the loop.

StillLivin posted 8/25/2014 00:55 AM

October 25th or 26th are the only days in October that work for me, right after mid terms but enough time before projects are due to take a break.
All, let me know which day is best for all of you of these two days.
Thank you.
