sad81712 - I know exactly what you mean. I must have read more than ever in my life right after DDAY. Now, there's hardly anything out there for post DDAY 2-3yrs later. I have experience all that rainbow of happy feelings you described. There's days that I can simply throw in the towel, and then there's days when I miss her like crazy. Well at least the old her. I think I miss the old me too.

Yep my double shot of betrayal is something that has taken me a while. I think I sometimes push myself too hard to heal but when I stop and look, I'm not ready, I'm not healed yet. I'm still broken. After 2yrs you start questioning if you should continue with your spouse or quit and start new? It's a mental and emotional ordeal. :/

Hope you're healing well. I read your bio.

I too wonder how to get my head around it all...I like what my therapist told me when I asked her WHY...her answer was very simple and it helps me when I start to analyze it over and over again with not good results. Do you know what she said when I asked WHY?

She said: "Because he is stupid."

Sometimes the simplest answer is the best.....
