My atty asked if it was normal for an alcoholic to lie or minimize their use and the expert said "no."
Um, pardon me? Any "expert" would know that minimizing and lying are pretty much a given for an active addict.

Marriages that start this way, stepping over the bodies of loved ones as the giddy couple walks down the aisle, are not likely to last.

When that counselor said an alcoholic would not lie or minimize their use the judge should got that 'expert' for perjury. lol! Wow! I am sure the judge right then and there realized how bias the counselor was at that point. Every person who ever dealt with an alcoholic knows they lie, minimize and then lie some more.
