Boom! hahaha!
OK, Nobody else will, so I'll ask, I want to see a picture of this, nothing sexual mind you.

I'm thinking like this?

Nothing posted, but think Wyle E Coyote and the Acme company type of lit bomb. Round, black with a sparkly fuse. Good god. This is beyond humiliating lol.

I always tell people that it's not a divorce tattoo, it's a new life tattoo. Complicated to explain, but it's a couple of symbols (feruchemy, in Mistborn, if that means anything to anyone) that essentially boil down to new life, and strength. I love it, because it's for me, and reminds me that I make my own path now, for me and my kids.

30 yrs later, with kids that age, Iím still mortified. Iím an artist and writer in an upper crust town. But Iíll bet there are more embarrassing tattoos than mine under all the fancy clothes.

Oh yeah there is.

But on the butt? Ouch. Good thing you were under the influence of schnapps.

I already have 2. The first says, ďsurrender.Ē Itís located inside my left wrist, where I see it often & am reminded.

For me, ďsurrenderĒ is a distillation of the message contained in the serenity prayer & similar teachings to let go of the things we cannot controlĖand to focus on the things I can.

ETA: I have another, along the inner aspect of my right foot. It says, ďa living soul stands rooted and reaching.Ē

I've actually had a tattoo picked out since the beginning but haven't gotten it yet. A claddagh ring on fire and melting. Since the claddagh stands for love, loyalty, and friendship, and my husband cheated with my best friend. Seems fitting..

I've been thinking of getting a heart tattoo with "Debbie" written across it.

.. my wife's name is Carol.

Ok, Iíll give more info. It was shots of raspberry schnapps. For both the ďartistĒ and for me. It was mid day. My backside was in the air, and I signed for a ups package while under the needle. Dr strangelove by motley CrŁe was blasting. I had just broken up w my boyfriend (who then became my wh).

Oh, and best part, as if it shouldnít be obvious, it says boom.

No disrespect, but that is hilarious. The visual is even better.

Twisted, that is just twisted.

Thatbpguy, no disrespect taken. I lost all self respect when I dropped my pants in a tattoo parlour. But no question, the whole story is hilarious. And it does make for a funny party story. I had a a very fun wild streak behind the straight Aís and Iím glad it still appears from time to time.

....I want my ass to say boom...

...so freaking jealous....

<sigh>

Northerngal posted 11/14/2017 14:36 PM

Lmao. I was called boomer for several years.

ya know boomer, can you give at least a description of the proportion? is it like so big that half of each side of the bomb os on each cheek or is it small enough to be confused with a tail end beauty mark?

Northerngal posted 11/17/2017 04:36 AM

Itís about the size of a silver dollar. Although after 30 years, some with pregnancies, some with/without squats and lunges, the reference-coin size has been, letís say, fluid.
