I live in Rural No Man's land and our library doesn't have this book available: "My Lover is a Liar" By Susan Forward. Has anyone on here read it? I would like to hear what other SI'ers think about the book before I drive an hour away to pruchase.

I read it a couple of weeks ago... FWH reacted very negatively to the title, but it was a really good book.

I've also read Forward's book on Toxic In-laws. Both of them were very helpful. They have straightforward strategies for how to deal with lies and manipulative behaviors and how to recognize when your gut is telling you something different than your brain. I wasn't that happy with how she minimized infidelity overall, but her focus is on honoring your own boundaries and not accepting behavior that disrespects them.

It's an easy read. I'd recommend it.

Yes, the title is very bold and to the point. My WH doesn't like the title of it either. I read it around the house rather than out in public.
