by Elizabeth Ford and Daniela Drake.

I happened to come across this book the other day while perusing the relationship section at the library. I figured why not? it looks like an easy read that I can look at while I'm in the bathtub.

I'm about halfway through the book, taking it with a grain of salt. Some of the info./advice is very practical while some of it seems contradictory.

Has anyone else read this?

Is this a book about how to become a trophy wife?

Well, in a nutshell...yes. Like I said, some good practical information, some not so good. Interesting though. I'm always fascinated with relationship dynamics and how things work.

I think MOW must have read this one! She didn't get to marry WH but she did get thousands of $$$$ spent on her.

But wise women make their own.

It nagged him, in particular, that none of the girls hed known so far had given him a sense of unalloyed triumph.

Well, not having read the book, if the message therein is consistent with the pessimistic title, I would have to say that I think smart girls study hard, work hard, and become lawyers, doctors, engineers, politicians, social workers, etc. and don't consider the monetary wealth of their partners, but instead the goodness inside their hearts.

I have avoided commenting on this thread for a long time. Doesn't the title of this book sound a little too close to advocating prostitution?

Your mileage may vary... in accordance with the prophecy.
