SG,

I still haven't started it, but I'd love to know what you think of it once you've read it.

I'm having surgery on Friday, and I'm loading up on books to read during recovery. This one is definitely on my list for recovery reads.

I read it. It's not a bad book by any means, but "Narcissistic Lovers" is a far better read imo.

I found that "Oz" spent too much time on why someone possibly became NPD. I can't speak for everyone, but I don't care why. I care about how to deal with them.

My XWH (with NPD traits per MC) can recite the Wizard of Oz movie practically verbatim. I will have to get this book.

I'm still reading this by the way...would love any others thoughts.

I'm on Chapter 6 "If he only had a heart" hhhmmmm, isn't that the truth. I'm really loving this one also. I skimmed through the parts about family NPD or workplace NPD but of course have been paying close attention to the love relationships sections and once again....feel like I could have written parts of this. It's is almost like reliving it all....but with new eyes so it's not really triggery, just uncanny how "by the book" NPD he really is, his behavior was and my reactions to it all...WITHOUT this insight at the time. Another very enlightening book for me!
