I am a kindergarten teacher. I have a little boy in my class with an infant brother and an 8 year old brother.

The boys are fantastic little guys. Mom is an alcoholic on a bender.

Months ago she came to me and told me she fell off the wagon and was working hard at her meetings, She wanted me to know in case her little guy was experiencing problems.

I know how hard that was for her. I know she wants to beat this.

I can already see the effects on the kids.

Alcoholism is a monster. She needs divine intervention.

Please pray for this family.

Poor babies.

Sending her the strength to beat this.

Prayers for Mom and kids. I hope there will be an angel that enters her life and guides her out of the addiction.

Sending prayers.

Are the children in any type of counseling? Is CPS involved?

The reason I ask is bc I grew up with an alcoholic father, and in those days there really wasn't anything anyone could do to help protect the children from the emotional effects of alcoholic parent.

Oh this breaks my heart. I will keep them in my prayers.

The last time I went to treatment, my younger ds was in 4th grade. I was gone for 28 days. He's 14 now, and brings it up periodically. It left such a hole in him for me to be gone like that. He also remembers much more about my drinking than I realized.

The amends will last the rest of my life. I will pray daily for this mom and her precious babies.

Oh I so hope she can pull out of this...

I hope she didn't drink during her recent pregnancy... Fetal Alcohol Syndrome is a life sentence for the child and the parents.

I hope those boys have some support... is she married?

Praying she can overcome this monster...
