I didn't want to take away from the other thread by posting my problem on there so here goes. I was 2.5 weeks late, now I've been late before and when I finally get my period I'm a wreck back pains cramps and heavy bleeding. During my regular periods I have to wear 2 pads sometimes and still have had "accidents." Thing is I've been on this period for 4 days now, no back pain, no cramps, no heavy bleeding, hell at some points there's barely any blood at all and when there is very little clotting if any. Should I be worried and get this checked?

ETA: I haven't even needed to wear a pad. A pantyliner will do.

Is there a possibility of you being pregnant?

A slim one but every test has come up negative. Besides increased appetite I have no other indicators. But then besides breaking out a little I have no indications I am on my period...I'm getting worried.

Call the Dr and ask to be seen. My thoughts are either a) PCOS or b) Pregnancy. If a pee test comes back negative, they may perform a blood pregnancy test to rule it out. As far as PCOS, it would not be uncommon for someone to have extremely heavy and irregular periods, and then all of the sudden have a month where the flow is hardly there (I have PCOS and go MONTHS without a period ).

I'd say Pregnancy... but could be PCOS....

Or maybe something else... I'd suggest see the Dr.

Yeah you need the blood test. It will show the HCG in your blood, it's the most reliable way to know if you're pregnant.

Good luck.

PCOS=Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome...basically hormone imbalance and cysts on the ovaries. It can cause irregular periods (sometimes a very heavy period and other times a very light period), weight gain, facial hair growth, acne, depression, mood swings, infertility, insulin resistance, and sometimes elevated b/p (most likely related to obesity and insulin resistance).
