I ran the whole 6 miles without stopping.. i got the worse cramp in the right gluteus maximus, i could barely make it up to my apartment 3 flights up...my SO has to massage my right cheek... i've been soaking in a hot epsom bath for the last 3 days....

I did the 10k last year around this same time but i walked most of the way.... Not sure what convinced me to run the whole damn 6 miles without any training prior to the event....

So back to the original reason i wanted to post... On the bottom of my left foot just below my toes is very sore.... I can barely walk on it... Not sure how to make it better either.... Is there anything i could use for it??

I plan to start running again because i really do enjoy it....laugh:

I would think you have tendonitis although it could be a stress fracture. You should do anti-inflammatories, ice (if you can stand it) and I'd see if taping it helps keep it more comfortable for a few days. I'd think comfortable, padded shoes are key too.

If it doesn't get better in a couple days - I'd see a Dr. to make sure you didn't fracture it.

Congrats on the race! that's awesome!

It doesn't sound like an area common for tendonitis. Perhaps Morton's Neuroma. Its basically a pinched nerve that happen's between the 3rd and 4th toe. Given that you ran with little preperation, you likely caused some swelling in the area which could have highlighted an existing issue.

Definetely see a doctor about it, but before you start running again I would suggest visiting a physiotherapist to see if there are any irregularities in your foot strike.
