They are smart! That's what I find so amazing. Just one guy who realized he could carve a better duck call than anyone else and 30 years later they have a multi-million dollar business! I mean, how many people actually buy duck calls? Apparently a lot more than I would have guessed.

and how many of us are ripping the skins off bullfrogs and filling a bucket full for dinner???

I know! Every time they even get near the water I think, "Watch out for alligators!!!" I guess I'm just not cut out for that way of life.

Best "reality" show on TV! I just laugh through the whole thing.

And obviously it's scripted because they are all smart and successful. But the scripts tend towards poking fun at each other and themselves. Not like some of those nasty real-housewives shows, etc.

The really ARE smart guys...even if they come off as "Rednecks". They remind me of Do3K and his brothers (other than Do3K and his brothers don't have beards ).

I think the episode with the lizard that got loose in the warehouse may have been the funniest thing I have ever seen. When they told Phil it was a ring necked monitor and he said, "A redneck Minotaur? What???" I almost broke a rib.
