I am soo lucky!! I have three beautiful children inside and out, my relationship with them has never been stronger! I have family who love me unconditionally! God has seemed it fit to bless me every day, I have a wonderful home I paid off and friends that think the world of me! And then there are the people here on SI that listen, encourage, put up with and support me daily! In my darkest days never could I have known how many truly wonderful people there are in the world. Yes! I have seen my share of difficulty. Yes! I have been in pain (recently) and yes! I will survive

ETA I still can't type

Your post made me smile and think that the new beginning may start out painful due to the circumstances, but in reality we should be happy and grateful about the things that we do have. The reality is that there are others worse off than I, so every day is an opportunity to truly enjoy and appreciate the things I have. This post was beautiful and made me realize that the things you mention are the ones that truly matter

Damned rollercoaster. I might start shouting "weeeeeeee" when I feel a dip coming.

What a great post! You are absolutely right- I, too, have so much to be thankful for. This is a good reminder to keep practicing gratitude.

Be thankful for the trees also.
