Happy  Posted: 9:04 PM, May 16th (Thursday)

After three weeks of feeling utterly wiped out after dental surgery, I'm finally getting some energy back.

First day back at work Tuesday was exhausting, co-workers were very sick with colds etc. and I was terrified I might come down with something. Hit the vitamins and supplements hard and drank lots of ginger tea. So far (fingers crossed) have dodged THAT bullet...

Today the dizziness went away. Still taking it easy, but might try a short bike ride this weekend.

Sleep patterns are wonky, so back to melatonin and hot baths before early bed with a good book.

My realtor landed a contract yesterday. if it goes, conditions are off March 27 and closing will be June 13. Two days before DDay anniversary #5... Letting go of that building that week is going to close that book. Sweet if it happens. Fingers and toes all crossed AND I get a price which returns the exact dollar amount of my down payment, give or take a few bucks.

Crazy.

I'm so thankful for my amazing new rental, which has been so peaceful during recovery from the nasty couple of weeks I just survived.

Can't imagine having to try and recover with the construction cacophony at my other place.

Can't wait to get the rest of my things and settle in for awhile.

My BFF is flying in on June 21 (solstice) for a girl weekend. She's coming back from Qatar to visit family and then coming out here for ice cream, sushi, long walks and tea and biscuits. And just lying on the couch staring at the greenery.

Hoping for a good summer after that. Peace.

Thanks! I plan to snooze a lot this weekend if it rains. Jammy time is so much better when you're not sick!

Oh I am so happy that you are moving forward. I believe however that when the BFF visits in addition to ice cream, sushi,
long walks etc...Should there not be a glass of wine?

I am glad you are well. Isn't it nice to know that even though it was a hard choice to decide to move that you now know it was the absolute right one????

Hah, wine, definitely. She doesn't really drink much but I can convince her to share a couple of glasses.
