I am a teacher, but I teach in a library and September is pretty routine. I am retiring September 30th. Now, I love my job, but I'm ready after 37 years...but I dislike writing lesson plans. Not that I don't NEED them, they are extremely useful, even though there are required format issues that are just silly.

Anyway, today, I had some extra time and worked ahead. And...wait for it...

I WROTE MY LAST LESSON PLANS EVER!!!!!

YAY!!!!

That is exciting!

I used to teach and I remember the amount of time those darn things took!

Congratulations on your last lesson plan and on your upcoming retirement!

People tell you exactly who they are...why expect them to be what they are not

Lesson plans are overrated, unless you have a sub. Then they come in handy.

Congrats!!
