Interesting read so far but what I wanted to share is that I am thankful he left me ~ it has allowed me to "see" the real him and it has allowed me to be the real me.

I also changed my profile description and added IO (Insignificant Other) because he truly is insignificant to me. The only time he comes to my mind is when he is fucking me over on finances (not paying his half of uncovered medical bills, not paying credit card bill, claiming both children for his taxes). Other than that, it's "eh".

It does get better friends!!

I'll have to read this. I thought about writing a book titled; Thank you for leaving me twice ftard; thank you very much!
Yes it does get better. When you see them for what they really are- it's freeing!

I must look it up. It is absolutely how I'm feeling about this whole thing.

I was miserable in that M for at least the last 5 years. Not good enough to stay, not bad enough to leave was the Ms Motto.

Who knows at what point he started cheating - he was always on the slippery slope. Even if he hadn't cheated it didn't change the fact that he treated me like shit and was and all-round shit husband and father.

I've said here before that cheating was the kindest thing he has done to me in the last 5 years. It freed me at a time when I did not yet have the courage to free myself.

Buzz- The word you are searching for is 'Space-Ranger.'
Woody- The word I'm searching for, I can't say, because there are Pre-school toys here.
