My son's school play is tomorrow! He has dress rehearsal today. At the start of it the teacher asked who wanted a small part, he raised his hand as well as a number of other students and he was given the part of Thomas Jefferson. Not sure how that translates to a "small part" but...

So tomorrow I'll be at the school cheering him on and probably crying my eyes out at his Oscar winning performance.

I'm so proud of him

Good luck to your sweetie pie!
Yes to the obligatory elbow!!! In fact if I was sitting beside you I would nod my head appreciatively and tell you he was clearly gifted.

His play was great! All the kids did a fantastic job. But Thomas Jefferson was, by far, the best

He wasn't nervous, he remembered all his lines, and he looked great in his costume.

We had issues with the video camera, luckily I was able to record his scene on my phone and the end of the play when all the kids sang "This Land Is Our Land." We did get some of it, but not all. So I'm glad I thought to record on my phone.

After the play we signed both of them out early and v went to a restaurant to celebrate. Then we found a new playground in town and they played there for a few minutes before my daughter's dance class.

I'm so proud of him. When we first arrived I was getting settled and I almost started to cry I'm such a sap for my babies.
