20+ years ago cost me $800. It's been sealed. I want to do something with it this month anti-versary that is theraputic for me to mark the occaision, my benefit. Giving it to kids not an option I want to consider.
Thanks in advance, I'm so not a creative person.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about this yet.. Maybe I'll go with cutting it up into rags and cleaning the toilets and THEN put it in the fire pit..

I'd sell it (if possible) and buy something you really want with the money. Like a weekend away or something.

Mine is still in my attic, not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, for some reason I don't want to get rid of it just yet...

I trashed it and burned some wedding stuff. I did give the wedding photo album to FT when I was throwing crap in a box for him.

Thought he needed a reminder of what he threw away. There were pictures with our friends, family, kids, and late Moms. I have no idea if he looked at it.

It's my life now, my choices, my mistakes to make and my victories to celebrate. His choices made me free of liars and betrayers in my life. That is priceless.

I wore my Mother's dress. It's in my garage, sealed up in a box. I can't bring myself to get rid of or destroy HER dress. My parents have been married 56 years as of next Saturday. Surely hat outweighs any potential tarnish from my marriage.

I've seen ideas like making fancy pillows to decorate your bed, or christening gowns for your grandchildren, but I just said 'nah' and burned it. It was a relief not to have to store it and drag it with me when I moved. Glad it's gone. It was too out of style to donate BTW.

I divorced him because I didn't like his girlfriend.

a friend of mine used hers as a Halloween costume, teared it up a bit and put fake blood all over it, her theme was "killer bride". She found it very refreshing to pretend to be a wife who killed her wh and ow, if only for a night

The disaster relief organizations for Hurricane Sandy and the Oklahoma tornadoes would LOVE to get a wedding dress.

Burn it.

Donate it.

If you google trash the dress images, you may get some other ideas.

Give it to a child care centre for dress ups?

Recycle it.

At this time, we are in need of contemporary gown styles, slips and veils dating from 2009 until the present day.

My first thought was put a match to it...... Voila burn baby burn.
Then I thought donate or sell depending on your financial situation.
