I've been stealth-trolling on one of the sites (my profile is hidden).

I just peek occasionally and if someone new and attractive pops up I will send them a message.

So this week's prospect popped up with one very cute photo and very little info, claiming to be single.

(Clue #1)

He responded favourably to my initial salvo, so we get to chatting, mutual interest is biking.

He says "so now what" and I say "well, more pics of you for starters..."

He comes up with one really lame shot of him and his grown sons with his granddaughter.

(Clue #2)

Then he comes back with "wanna go for a bike ride?"

So I say "Um, no, not yet, more info required!" and proceeded with the "what happened with the mother of your kids" type questions, ending with "what brings you here".

Crickets.

(Clue #3)

Thank you SI for giving me so much smarts it's intuitive...

You are braver than I am. I won't even put up a profile.

Yes we have learned many lessons from SI.I'm finally smart enough to use them too.

I heard a statistic on the radio that a quarter of all marriages now start with OLD. And that those marriages that started in OLD last longer.

Well, good for you FF. This is your first OLD story I've heard. You have gotten a great education here!

You could also say you would enjoy a phone call...
