Waywardson had a rare day off today and DD was out all day, so we cooked. We got the stuff off of the grill just before it started pouring.

We had:
Habanero Peach Grilled Chicken
Grilled Squash seasoned with Jamaican Curry
Tarragon Potato Salad
Pineapple Jasmine Rice

(I don't eat like that every day. I had crackers with some cheese for dinner yesterday.)

What's for dinner at your house??

I'm trying out that Alfredo recipe that NIK posted here a couple of weeks back.

It's smelling good so far!

Leftovers that were still good.

It all went into a pot with rice browned till nutty in olive oil and I think it might be half way decent...maybe I have invented a new dish using a leftover cooked chicken thigh, spicy Indian food (Murg), bell peppers, and a chopped onion?

tonight will be scrambled eggs with cheese and rye toast. Tomorrow -- seeing as it's Friday -- will be the big carb-splurge meal of the week where I have angel hair pasta with a little olive oil and some cherry tomatoes. Then back to eggs.

First of all... TACKLE HUG!!!!!! Hi unfound!

And second of all.. your cooking sucks

We had bbq'd chicken, broccoli cheese rice and corn. I managed not to burn the chicken somehow but have been known for dinner that has caught on fire in the past

Unagie,

I think it looks pretty good but I don't know if I'd try a dish that has eww in the name.

mr unfound will be cooking tonight . either because A) he doesn't trust me using the oven, B) he's still feeling sorry for me, or C) he's going to rub the "well done" garlic bread in for all it's worth

I'm going with C. meh. either way, I don't have to cook!!

Lol gahurts it's delicious. Tonight I'm not sure what I'm having one of my BFF's took me to dinner last night. She insisted on paying so it was extra yummy lol. I might cook tonight...or just eat some Special K with dark chocolate, strawberries and soy milk. Ya know whatever is easier.

boneless buffalo wings with Frank's Red Hot of course!, salad with homemade garlic croutons and homemade Cesar dressing. Of course, that's how I feel now. That is all subject to change!

Eggs and spam. Sad isn't it.

To quote a line from a great Spike Lee movie: "Put some mozarella on that m*therf*cker..." ^^^^

At the risk of repeating myself from the bar thread, I'm craving a bacon and avocado sandwich.

On fresh sourdough.

With a beer.

And it's not just any bacon, it's that fancy-schmancy artisanal maple and rosemary from hand-raised organic hogs that have had the ultimate pampered lifestyle out on the farm....

The sourdough is fresh and the lager is local.

Going for seconds now.

I was sick all last night and couldn't eat...so watched the Food Channel to make up for it.

FF, that sounds awesome!

bp, the LAST channel I want to watch when I'm sick is Food Network!!

DD is sick now, so I'm not cooking much today. I baked some bread, but I'm not willing to push it more than that.
