Mel hasn't posted since Sunday. I hope she got medical attention....and I also hope she got away from this guy.

I didn't add to her thread because everything I would have said had been told to her many times in that thread.

I just hope she did the follow-through.

I agree that it is possible that any guy that would leave a wife unconscious for 10 hours was probably hoping she'd be dead when he got home. That scared me.

And she said he brought a "little bottle of ketchup" home. They don't have "little bottles" at restaurants, but they do have that for room service at hotels. Just sayin

I, too, have been concerned for her. Have prayed for her frequently and wished so much I could help her IRL. But like the rest of us, she has to find her own way.

Thanks for the concern. I'm here but I'm laying low. I'll check in from time to time. I've had a couple of nice PM exchanges, and I think that's a better route for me to take right now.

Point taken about the mini ketchup bottle. The diner/restaurant was at a hotel.

Thank you for checking in.

I'm glad you're communicating privately with some members here. You were getting great advice, so it's wise to keep talking. People have your very best interest at heart. The concern is real.

Take care of yourself. And when/if it is right, then post again on the board. A lot of good people want to help you.

Mel, I just want you to know that I regularly check to see if you've shown up. I do hope that you are still receiving help on the private board. My prayers are with you daily. I hope you are safe.

Thank you Janet for checking in. Your concern is much appreciated. My head took quite a good knock.

I'm safe. Sometimes I fear that my ability to judge my level of personal safety is a bit off (I mean in general, not just the past few weeks). I'm lucky to have a very good IC to help me wade through that.

Again, thank you.

So glad to see that you are working with a counselor. Be 100% honest with your counselor to be able to get the best advice.

Happy you are safe. Update from time to time if you can.
