after the year is up here in this state were going to visit our hometown for a while then find a new place to live . somewhere nobody knows our names and we have no history in and we can have a new start and new circle and a new future. im so glad he is willing to move away from here and away from my past back home . he is really excited and positive and sometimes its hard to keep up with him but i want what he wants and his is showing interests in my dreams so im wishing for this time here in this state to pass quickly im ready for a new place and a new start. i know it wont fix everything but its a start.

A friend of mine, whose husband also had a 2 year affair many years ago, moved after the A was known. It helped her immensely to have a fresh start.

I would love to move away, but alas. At least the OW moved away!

Omg! I LONG for this! As soon as my 15 yo is 18, I'm out of here! I hope to god I can figure out how to pull it all together in the remaining years.
I've been counting the days since my oldest (now 21) was 9 years old.
I am so desperate for this fresh start...with or without my husband. It's happening!
Good luck to you! Congrats!

6mo post Dday My WH resigned his position (A with MOW coworker), put the house on the market, and we moved 1600 miles away. I swear, it was the best thing we could have done.

So many triggers were immediately removed from my world.

I am so happy for you. It truly is a new start...Good luck!

in R 3.5 years and it's working but he is putting 200% into it (as he should) to make it right again.

The truth hurts, but I have never seen it cause the pain that lies do.
