This is so tough. I'm getting a lot done...doing some stuff for me...actually being social and enjoying it.
But my god, do I miss that child. Talked to him tonight and he told me all about a circus he went to. Then he says when he gets home he needs a hug and kiss and noses. (We do this every night before bedtime.) I tell him if he closes his eyes he can see me give him a great big hug, big old smooch on the forehead, and rubbing noses.
Sunday night cannot get here soon enough. I hate this.

I used to do noses with my children when they were small, too. Now after hugging them and kissing their cheek we rub cheeks. Have done that almost forever. Have I mentioned they are now 19 and 21? :)
Nothing feels sweeter than rubbing your cheek against your child's. Just thinking about it makes me smile.
I'm glad to hear you're being social and getting lots done. Teslet will be home before you know it and you can overdose on Teslet time.

I miss them everyday I am not with them and I realized what I really miss is that we don't get to have many of the experiences together that should have been ours to experience.

My son and I used to do noses too and snuggle a lot. I miss those days. He's 16 now and at almost 6ft, he's a bit too big for such things now.

(((tesla))). I'm sorry this is hard for you. It sounds like teslet is thinking of you, too, even in all the excitement of his trip. He needs and misses your grounding.
My kiddos and I did noses, too - decades ago. (Ugh! Has so much time gone by?).
