My first DDay was on my 40th birthday. After outing OM to wife I was pretty sure that long distance affair ended, but I had been thinking there was someone local. Fast forward to today, I have been out of town for work for the past 10 days. When I got home my kids began talking about babysitters they had had while I was gone and one was overnight. Then I found sissors in the bathroom drawer, which means she was grooming her areas. Next I found a bottle of bourbon and a shot glass, which we never drink. On high alert today I confronted and she admitted to "going out" with someone. So here I am back to square one after 8 months false R. She had recently been talking about a separation, which was my first clue. So we are now over, she did find a house to live in so our temporary in house separation is coming to a close in ten days.

Moral of the story always trust your gut...this was her exit affair so I assume she had subconciously clueing me in all along

I am so sorry that your wife has chosen this path and has hurt you and your family in the process.

Please do not blame yourself on not following your gut. You gave your wife the gift of a second chance and she chose to disregard it. That is hers to own.

Please see an attorney ASAP to know your rights especially as it pertains to your children. She is not acting in their best interest by bringing another man into your home. Unacceptable.

Please take care of yourself and know that you are not alone. We are all here for you. One day at a time.

Sending hugs and prayers.

That's just awful. I hope that you can get out of separation hell ASAP and get some peace of mind.
