So my Danish friend thinks I'm really good at manifesting stuff, like dreaming it until it comes true.

This appears to have been the case the last few years, dreaming about selling the House of Pain for cash (happened), dreamed of living in a fabulous waterfront condo (happened), dreaming about selling the condo and moving to a heritage rental (happened, but not a cash sale this time but whatever, you can't win them all!).

So now I'm getting settled and I'm starting to have room for thinking about a companion for funsies.

Have not really been putting a lot of energy into it. My other BFF tells me if you want it you have to start making a list and visualizing everything on it. Daydreaming.

OK, so I started my list (very rough draft):

silver fox

dark-rim glasses (dead sexy on a silver fox)

a little taller than me or can be six feet if he wants to be

works with his hands

creative

lean and sexy

Today he manifested himself twice in two different incarnations... first thing this morning at a stop sign. I had the right of way as a pedestrian but he was obviously in a hurry in his silver Audi two-seater coming down the hill from the swank condos around the corner from here.

I waved him through with a smile and he gave me a huge gorgeous grin and a wave back.

Made
My
Day

So I was just at the grocery store, and there he was again. A different version but the same type. At the organic produce as I walked in.

In front of me at the cashier, chatting easily about something.

British (add that to the list... swoon)

Mechanic's hands. Or maybe a carpenter. Or a sailor (even better).

As he was leaving he turned around and shot me a huge smile.

Saw him swooping away in a gold Jaguar.

Full moon solstice magic anyone? Twice in one day, and this is the first time I've spotted him in like forever, I rarely see my type around here, we are a college town and a retirement centre so they're either way too old or wayyyy too young....

Jeez, I've got to start paying attention more often.

Sounds like you come up with a plan in your mind and you don't stop until you get what you want.

Pics or it didn't happen!

Wow, I wish I had that power. If I did, then an older version of Channing Tatum, maybe in a uniform (military, cop, fireman?) would be knocking on my door. And no, not the Magic Mike version [[shudder]]. Can you tell I have a celebrity crush?

Go for it FF!

If only it was that easy Faithfool.

I haven't learned my lesson yet lmao. I still want the sexy bad boy but one that treats me right.

I may have to try this(not the bad boy though).

I think...therefore, I'm single.

It is what it is.
