If the OW had just split with her H, and my husband spent some time on Valentines Day with her, and then 1 week later I go to his office (she worked for the same company) and she's wearing a shiny solitaire diamond ring on her left ring finger, who thinks this was NOT from him? He says "Oh, she got that from her aunt." He also tried everything in his power to try and stop me from going to his office that day, when the A had been going on for almost a year already and he hadn't tried to stop me before. Our DDay was a year ago, we're in R, and this is still a sore spot with us. He says over and over again that he did not buy her an engagement ring, and yet I know that he asked her to marry him over and over. He admits to buying her a "cluster" ring for Xmas, and she was still with her H then. How did he expect her to wear it? But buying an engagement ring for Valentines Day, the most romantic day of the year, after the H was gone, makes so much sense, no?

Well in unicorn fart land only would that make sense, but it sounds like he was a resident.

No way to track down how he might have paid for it... a credit check perhaps might show a line of credit, or a credit card you were/are unaware of.

Cause - I'd be thinking that's exactly where it came from...

Sorry - that sucks!

I think all banks maintain records for several years.... if I were you I'd request all his statements for every bank account and credit card going back 2 years.

I think you're exactly right :( I'm so sorry.

I wonder why he won't cop to it? Maybe he thinks it'd be a dealbreaker? He should know better...lying to a BS is salt in the wound!

How is it that he knew it was from her aunt? This means that he asked her where she got it. Are they supposed to refrain from communicating, especially about personal matters?

But of course, you're right. He probably did give it to her.

It seems that when an affair partner is also a ho-worker, the only solution is for one of them to find employment elsewhere. I'm sorry you're going through this. I've been there, and I know how it feels.

Neither of them work there anymore, he told her to quit the day after DDay as he knew I was going to out them to their boss, who loves me, he's a real family man. FWS told me she said it was from her aunt last year. Whose Aunt gives them a solitaire diamond ring? Yup, it looks like I'm right.
