Why do you choose today, the day before the parenting plan pre-trial, to run off?

I did find him in the parking lot of the apartment complex integrating himself into a group of random teens. Argh. A curse on you, autism. He was able to get that far because I had the younger two in the tub, and obviously had to get them out and dressed before I could launch the search. Never been so close to calling the police.

I did tell waffle, just because it would be worse if DS5 were to blurt it out at the next visit. I am also trying to be as proactive as possible, getting his BCBA involved and calling the developmental disabilities board about extra locks/alarms.

I hope that's enough for the magistrate!

I'm so glad he's OK! I would have had a heart attack too.

It is amazing how they develop these skills all of a sudden. I remember finding my non-climbing little girl standing on top of the coffee table one day "Oh, so she can climb now, guess I had better keep an eye on that".

Stay strong mamma. Anyone who is a parent has had these sorts of dramas - moreso when autism is in the mix.

I may have reached a point where I'd piss on him if he was on fire.... eventually!!

Yeah little miss imp (DGD) figured out how to scale the couch today. She can get UP but not down. I'm thinking of tying her up when I have to do something like use the restroom.

I trust you is a better compliment than I love you, because you may not trust the person you love, but you can always love the person you trust. - Unknown
Relationships are like sharing a book, it doesn't work if you're not on the same page.
