I read about this website less than a week ago in our local paper. Wish i knew about it two years ago when I found out about the A. In the last week I think i have healed more by reading the posts on this site than in the MC or the individual therapy I have undergone. Thank you to everyone!

Many times SI will help give a perspective of what you've read, MC, IC, or watched on tv.

It's my life now, my choices, my mistakes to make and my victories to celebrate. His choices made me free of liars and betrayers in my life. That is priceless.

I agree with your sentiment about healing more from this site than from MC & IC combined. I have been going to MC & IC for 8 months now and just found this website a couple days ago. It doesn't surprise me that MC & IC counselors don't promote going on forums since its a direct competition for them.

I know this may sound selfish, but misery really does love company. Hearing that everyone else is experiencing the same things that I am, actually makes me feel like there is hope, if not for my marriage then at least for myself.

Hang in there everyone, its a rough road but in the end, we will all find our destination.

Absolutely! Who knew strangers behind a keyboard from around the world could offer so much compassion and kindness, good advice, and feelings of commiseration. I love me some SI.

Welcome here! Hey, have you checked out the Betrayed Men''s forum in I Can Relate? You might want to do so. They are some really rightious guys. Pull up a beer and join in with them.

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
