The title alone made me cringe, like when you see someone take a shot in the groin and you have the automatic response to close your legs and tighten your thigh muscles.

Ohhhhh shite! I read this to my FWH and, when I got to the part where he was "Taken to St. Bernard''s Hospital for treatment of his injuries," we just totally lost it. Gawd have mercy!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

Sounds horrific if it's real.
