My son is 25 and has known since 5th grade that he wanted to work in film. It has been his dream since as long as we can remember. He is 25, graduated from CSULB with a degree in film and has worked for the past 3 years for pennies. He can't support himself but has done everything he can to get experience and learn the industry. Unfortunately, in this industry, you need to know someone or get a break. He has neither. We just talked and he almost broke down, knowing that he is about to have to throw in the towel and he just doesn't know what to do.

Please pray that he can find something in the industry so that he can stand on his own 2 feet and make a living. I just hate that he feels like a loser. We keep telling him that he has done everything he can and it's not his fault.

It's so hard when you want to help carry your kids, but know that you have to let them go.

Sending tons of SI's legendary mojo. Hugs for both of you, honey.

PM me with where he lives and his experience. I know people who know people who know people, but you never know.
