Like I said, my emotions are extremely high tonight. I now want to know more about the emails he sent in the past 4 years. His computer broke about 7 months ago, brought it to a computer specialist today trying to restore the data.

I've asked him about those emails ... his response was "oh, that's nothing". I really want to get to the bottom of those emails. I've tried to gain access to his email, but it seems he gave fault information about security questions. Not getting anywhere. And of course, he tells me that he can't remember his password.

Anyone know how I can gain access to an email address without the password?

i figured out a bunch of my husbands passwords. do you know any details? do you have any email address at all ? if you have one address you can search the one address for clues. If its gmail you can go back into web search history under account settings.

i reset a bunch of passwords. but sometimes when you do this they are attached to his phone number and rings him so be careful.

if you have an old computer just go back into the computer history and see if you can see anything. check under google tab, firefox tab etc...then go back in history.

The guy that is restoring the data should be able to access those without an issue.
We had a problem recently where my H couldn't get on the laptop, because he couldn't remember his password (He has about 30 different ones between work, our bee business and private). They were able to fix it, and get him a new password set up in about 5 minutes.

Got the computer back today. It is not fixable and I have tried to gain access to his emails (hotmail) and did not answer the security questions correctly. So, I am out in the open field again. Maybe it is a sign to stop digging.

Maybe try installing a key logger so if he logs in you can capture the password. Then you can log in and search for old emails

You may also be able to reset the security questions without him knowing
