This past weekend my son lost his dog, an almost 15 year old dalmation. She was let out with the other pets early morn when my GD left for an amusement park. She was let back in but was no where around when it was snack time.

They looked for hour and hours...and discovered her drowned in the septic tank! The lid was off(a 12 inch lid) which had never happened. The dog was over 100 ounds. There were heavy rains during the night. STBX stays there. I have no clue what happened or how that lid came off.

This is the second missing animal. Their cat disappeared(indoor cat) 2 weeks ago.
My son and his wife are just devastated. He was hysterical when he called the siblings.

Everyone went over to help. What a sad day.
