The ice cream truck reminded me of an episode of Star Trek TNG where councillor Troy is eating a bowl of chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge and how she describes to Riker her ritual of spooning the fudge around the ice cream. He ends up saying something like "I'll leave the two of you alone"

I'm curious,  what's everyone's chocolate preference?

Dark or white?
Alone or covering something (like nuts, raisins, coffee beans etc?)

Chocolate ice cream
Or chocolate bars?  If the latter, which one and why?

What is your favourite form/type of chocolate????????????

For me, it's chocolate cream cheese. Wh occasionally brings it home for me (I don't buy it myself). *kiss my diet goodbye lol.

It has to be chocolate covered Brazil nuts!

My absolute favourite way to eat chocolate!

ETA: And I don't care if they are covered in white or milk chocolate but don't much like dark chocolate as it's a tad too bitter for my tastes.

One response. Hmmm. Perhaps I have made an incorrect assumption that chocolate is a fav of SIr's???

Or maybe everyone actually has a life and isn't sitting in the dark on the sofa hiding inside SI to avoid sneaking off to the fridge to make myself another slice of toast with chocolate cream cheese because DS ate Mine...

Oh...I have chocolate cream cheese and strawberries. Yum!

White or milk are my favs.

I'm not a big fan of chocolate ice cream, but love mint chocolate chip ice cream, snicker ice cream bars, and godiva chocolate bars.

Damn it. Now I want chocolate.

Dark or white? Yes
Alone or covering something Yes
Chocolate ice cream
Or chocolate bars?
Yes
What is your favourite form/type of chocolate???????????? Yes
For me, it's chocolate cream cheese. No thank you.

For the record, I am not sitting in the dark on the sofa, I am running through a mental checklist of where all my chocolate is stashed and worrying that I might not have enough to make it through the next ten years.

I am sitting/laying on the sofa in the dark because I have a headache. Kids are content watching Bear. for now...

I am having an ALL day SI surf, read, post day because I am stressed and being here is calming.

And it's keeping my hands busy so I don't resort to comfort food (ie choc cream cheese smothering something lol).

Dark. Alone. Or with chile in it. Or toffee. Or caramel. Or strawberries. Or raspberries. Or espresso beans.
Not a fan of white, or chocolate ice cream, or cream cheese. My favorites are imported and expensive. Or there was this one little chocolate shop when I visited Fredericksburg, TX a few years ago. They specialized in liquid center chocolates. Your favorite alcohol encased in a perfect chocolate shell. Must be eaten in one bite or the liquid center is lost on your face and clothes. Those were divine.

Dark or white? AT LEAST 70% DARK

Alone or covering something (like nuts, raisins, coffee beans etc?) WITH RED WINE

Chocolate ice cream PREFER VANILLA DRIZZLED WITH DARK CHOC SAUCE

Or chocolate bars? If the latter, which one and why? VANILLA ICE CREAM WITH BITS OF DARK CHOCOLATE BAR BROKEN UP IN IT AND DRIZZLED WITH THE ABOVE SAUCE. ELIMINATES THE NEED TO CHOOSE.

What is your favourite form/type of chocolate? GANACHE AND/OR MOUSSE SMOTHERED IN WHIPPED CREAM

For me, it's chocolate cream cheese. NO!

I like a combo of dark chocolate and tart lemon squares.

YES, I'M YELLING BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE CHOCOLATE!

Oh, how cruel. I'm on the HCG diet right now and can't have chocolate for another 36 days (not that I'm counting)

Ok, I like any chocolate except white.
Favorite right now is Fresh and Easy 72% Swiss. I don't like expensive, fancy chocolate that much, but I'll eat it if it's free. :)
I love raisin clusters, or chocolate covered caramel. When those Milky Way caramel bars came out? OMG, I ate so many! I also love 100 Grands.
I hate any kind of nut so that restricts my chocolate choices.
I love chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge sundaes.
My favorite form or type? Depends on my mood. Safe to say anything without nuts.
Brownies (with added chips)
Ice cream
Dare double fudge cookies! Remember Fudgetown cookies?
Break up chocolate (sold in those bulk candy shops)

In my baked goods, I prefer yellow cake with chocolate frosting, chips, etc. I also love chocolate chip mint ice cream but hate Andes mints or Olive Garden mints. ::shrug:::

Dark or white? - I prefer milk chocolate.
Alone or covering something (like nuts, raisins, coffee beans etc?) alone is fine. Hershey is my favorite.

Chocolate ice cream
Or chocolate bars? If the latter, which one and why? Chocolate bars if those are my only 2 options. Fudgsicles are good.

My favorite chocolate candy is the Milky Way bar. I don't care for chocolate with peanut butter.

My SO doesn't care for chocolate unless it's in a bar, preferably with caramel. He doesn't like chocolate milk, syrup, cake, ice cream...

Milk chocolate.

My little secret is the Walmart brand caramel filled cups or the peanut butter cups.

Apparently, they are everyone elses's dirty little secret, because they are hard to get-that shelf is always empty.

I like macaroons too.

Chocolate plus peanut butter I can only take in small doses. The new Large Reese cups are to much for me. I can only eat maybe one cup over an hour.

Mint chocolate chip icecream is my fav.

White chocolate is ok once in a while.

Dark chocolate is to bitter for my taste.

Chocolate covered almonds and coffee beans YUM!!!

Wh has tried chocolate covered...dare I say it....insects. I chickened out!!!

DD8's birthday party this year was a chocolate party. It was at a candy/cookie/chocolate shop. The kids got to make their own chocolate bars with all sorts of candy or even potato chips in it. Then they got to dip Rice Krispie treats, Oreos, marshmallows, and graham crackers. It was messy...and tasty....and by the time it was time for pizza, no one was hungry.

It makes me a jolly good fellow
I like chok’lit.

I was expecting chocolate covered spiders.

I like chocolate, but I don't love it. As a kid, I actually disliked it, used to tell people I was allergic. (Ama was a liar as a kid, about more things than just chocolate, messed up little brat was I.)

I worked in a gourmet, family owned chocolate shop in the town where I grew up for three years in high school. One year spent sitting in a cubicle in a dim warehouse putting chocolates into those little brown crinkly papers and then putting arranging them in the box according to the map, and then sprinkling chocolate covered almonds on top to guarantee that the box had at least as much chocolate as it said (1 pound, 2 pounds, etc.)

And then two years working the front counter at the other location, selling choclate and mixed nuts and all the other candy we brought it (gummies and jellies and 21 colors of M&Ms). This was all unsupervised while going through puberty. I gained about 30 pounds.

At Christmas time, the only time of year I didn't work the counter alone, the other girls and I would flirt with the boys who worked at the Papa John's across the street, and they would give us free pizza and we gave them free chocolate. It was a terribly unethical system.

I think fudge is probably my favorite way to eat chocolate.

Oh, but you know what else I love? French Silk Pie. I make a mean french silk pie, and usually have leftover filling, which I then freeze in little 1/2c tupperwares. They freeze and thaw beautifully and make for the most perfect little treat of sweet, salty chocolate mousse.

Dark chocolate is my favorite - if it's really good, I don't need anything in it or on it.

I love York peppermint patties.

I love hot fudge sundaes.

I'm pretty good as I live alone and can make a bag of Dove dark chocolates last a least 3 weeks. All I need is one little bit after supper.

Of course, I put it away in the cabinet when the grandkids come - I'm not wasting my good chocolate on them - they will eat ANYTHING that is sweet!

Broevil. That looks like an empire scorpion. Good eating hahaha *gag!

I love chocolate but I don't think I could eat any insect...

My brother text me last night asking if I had a spare fish tank. I said maybe asking if it was for fish or something else and if it was for him. The only tank I have is a small eclipse tank. He said it was for fish and for him.

Two minutes later he was at the door and tells us about a Jack & Jill he attended where one of the fund raisers was to eat gold fish.

HE ATE FOUR!!!!!!
But didn't raise enough to win the prize. This lead into a conversation Between wh and my brother about mealworms and how they wiggle on the way down and can bite...

At the end of the night there were still gold fish and he was voted to take them home as pets. He said (jokingly) he might get hungry later...OMG!!!

hey look. I t/j my own thread

Mmm, chocolate...

Favorite form? Haven't had a chocolate torte in years, but used to love their spongy texture. Dad used to make them for me on special days.

Right now it's probably straight up hot chocolate, or perhaps a chocolate croissant dipped in hot chocolate. Yum.
