I'm on vacation right now and navigating through north Chicago, I saw a cracked out lady shooting up. She was wearing a red t shirt with that badger guy you like on it. Made me think of you.

BLASPHEMY!!!!
Ama....Bucky is not 'that badger guy'...he is ICONIC!

DO NOT DIS BUCKY!!!!

(so while you are doing penance for calling him *that badger guy*, you can go ahead and engage in a couple of rounds of 'jump around'.)

I don't know the language - and the food is suspect

If you ever made your way to our part of the Midwest, you'd understand the beer, cheese, and Bucky shit. It really isn't as scary as it sounds....just sayin'.

Jump Around is the BEST. The whole stadium shakes!

And Bucky is a pretty awesome Badger:

The funny part of this is that I knew he was associated with a sports team, but no idea what sport or team.

(I had no idea the Iowa mascot's name was Herky....huh. Learn something new every day)

eta: LOVE those video links. 'Jump around' is so awesome that even the opposing team was doing it (did ya notice that? Lol.) And I think it's pretty cool that the campus is so close to the Capitol building -- you can see it over Bucky's shoulder in one of the shots in the Bucky vid.

That's debatable.
And just out of curiosity...
I'm on vacation right now and navigating through north Chicago
The north SIDE of Chicago, or the city of North Chicago? Two totally different places...but North Chicago is like 10 minutes from me, and there is certainly crackheads abound.

We were in Lincoln Park, on the north side of Chicago. We went to the Bongo Room for lunch, where I had a sandwich with very dry, overlooked chicken and over ripe avocado. I might have had too high of expectations after reading the yelp reviews though.

Oh, and I figured out from this thread that the badger is from Wisconsin. And I think football(?)

Bucky's all good with the trash talking.

He was too busy doing pushups on Saturday!
