Well there's a character on this show who I swear they developed after my ex husbands personality....(s
If you're watching it who do you think it could be? Hints:
He THINKS he's very powerful.
Compulsive liar.
He's a coward.
Most likely an alcoholic.
He's bald...
He's a total rat bastard who kills people, and blames others....
I swear when I was watching this the past few weeks I just cringe when this character is on. Yeah; that's my ex! Yikes!

Yeah, I'm watching. Know exactly who you are talking about. I can't stand him!

I'm pretty sure he's NPD and a sociopath.

I think...therefore, I'm single.

It is what it is.

I'm thinking you're correct!
Yes, on the NPD, sociopath!
That's how my ex has acted for the past few years. Scary stuff because a few episodes I was like ok he's not that bad....that's how I survived my marriage as long as I did I'm pretty sure!

Every now and then I'll be watching something on tv, reading something, etc. It'll bring back some memory.

After we were married he started showing me the "real" him. He started telling me these stories about him. Before it was all about his family.

The other day I watching tv and I remembered one of these "stories" he told me after we were married.

He had told me how he had climbed the roof of his parents house when he was a kid, set a stray cat on fire and threw it off the roof. The only thing I could think was, who the fuck had I married and what the hell was wrong with him. I remember telling him that's fucking sick. He just smiled!

I think...therefore, I'm single.

It is what it is.

Ah, Big Jim?

Yes! Big Jim!
I've thought it a few times, but after last night's episode when he shot two people, and was getting ready to shoot Barbie; then acted as if Barbie had done the killings....bam!
Kind of a metaphor to what my ex did. He didn't "kill" anyone per say, but it felt like I could have died a few times! He went onto tell people I cheated, and blah blah blah.
Most people see through this eventually, but it took me a while.

Jeez, Strongmama, that's pretty horrible. You know, I feel I've been luckier than most with my own situation. I never felt afraid of my ex, and he wasn't the major douche nozzle that many of our WS's are. He was/is just one fucked-up individual. And I know what you mean. When I was in my marriage it was like I couldn't see the forest for the trees.
