We'll have to ask MH if the sole survivor can have recognition for a week.

Yes, some kind of recognition would be nice.

Not that LD ever shows his face in here anymore, but if he wins I'll take his prize .

You just get on the list by telling deeplysad you want in and then you talk about each episode and how awesome you did after it airs. It's fun!

And yes, there was an F-bomb or two .

Since we didn't have enough people, most of us have two players. So even when your torch is snuffed, you will have another chance with your 2nd player.

Should be a fun season!!

Just found the pics.
Wow, that is a tiny bikini Candice is wearing.

I'm betting on some fuzzing out in the challenges.

My sisters and I have a game to look for nipple and butt crack "fuzzing" out on the show.

Um, a little more sporty swim suit is always the better choice if you are going to be wrestling in mud.

You know they will totally do this challenge again.

Laura, I don't remember you at all!

Rupert really pissed me off. He got all sappy and emotional 5 minutes into the game They voted his W to Redemption Island and he just *had* to rescue her

Rupert will never win because he thinks everybody likes him.

I thought I was the only one who never liked Rupert.
He sealed his fate when he stated, "It's my game and my island, get off my island."

His wife looked lost without him and in the aftermath of my betrayal I can do without the constant PDA of Rupe and Laura.

I don't remember Candice at all and I thought it was nice that her husband John teared up about leaving her on Redemption.

Also, never liked Colton either. He's a classic bully that thinks it's ok to bully because he was bullied. Reminds me of my ex as well. Ick!!

I don't understand how someone treated meanly his whole life could go on to treat others so meanly. That's why I don't feel bad for him and I can't stand him.

On his season he said something really rude like, I like Black people, I have several working in my house. My chin dropped. He's not a nice person. I really want him out, or for the others to call him on his shit and make his life miserable there.

I can't remember Aras.
I can relate to his brother, being a recovering alcoholic.
I think the newcomers worked really cohesively in the first part of the challenge, but totally fell apart in the puzzle. I thought Katie was the weakest player on that team and Gervase....well, the sooner he's out the better (no offence, SI players). His niece has more class than him. Colton.....yes, it looks like his true self is revealed next week.

I made it to 4th place last time I played (Christina, who Colton bullied unmercifully).....and I won my office pool the year Amber won.

Hahaha.
I am Candice and I rocked at that challenge.
Loved the winks to her husband. It's obvious they do that a lot. Never liked the "babe" thing. "Love you babe." "Love you too babe."
Babe to me is a little pig.

Rupert is out, boo hoo.
"I can't believe it, FIRST to be OUT." So dramatic.

Colton is showing his true colours.

Great show overall.

Argh.
I was hoping the blindside would be Brad.
Now they just have to ditch marissa and they can get it on!!!!
Candice will whoop john's ass.
I hope she makes it back onto a tribe.
Fingers crossed.

Here's the thing about Colton.

He's so ignorant he thinks people hate him because he's gay. People hate him because he's an absolute asshole to everyone he encounters.

I hope his boyfriend views this footage of him and dumps his hateful ass.

I think the entire tribe had Colton's number and they would not pander to him.
So he quits...yet again.
Jeff looked like he was pissed.
I like how he answered the question,
Jeff: "so you don't get what you want and then you just give up?" (paraphrased)
Colton: "I guess. I don't know!! sniff sniff".

What a tool.

Hey....I had to fight my brother....Vytas was sneaky with poor sportsman conduct......hmmmm....reminds me of my twin sister.
I do believe my Survivor personas are a good match!

....and what's with Ciera? Her facial expression...she looks so angry and resentful, or am I reading her wrong???

Colton.....good riddance!
And Jeff's comment about his tribal bandana was great...it didn't deserve the "honour" of having fought a good game.

I'm looking forward to Wednesday night....

I texted that exact thing to my Survivor- watching text buddy last night!

I also added that he's much too good for Colton!

I can't believe he pulled that off.

It was funny when Brad was walking away and Jeff said Redemption Island and Brad mumbled, 'That's going to be fun.'

My girl Candace got beat by her own hubby.
My DD said, "what's with all the winking?"

They were really shocked when Laura showed up at Redemption.
Loved the "how did you guys lose?" from Brad.

I caught something tonight that I confirmed with rewind on DVR. After the challenge at redemption island, which came down to John and Brad in a tight race for second. Just before the commercial you could see Brads board and he still had about twenty numbers he hadn't placed. Apparently those challenges aren't as close as they appear.

No one seems very excited anymore

Kat made me crazy with her "ohhhhh Hayden do you still love me?" episode. Not much of a relationship there if you have to worry about that.

So glad Vytas made it thru and the merge is next week! I think that is who I am rooting for.

I said that to LD, that if she's worried that he's going to break up with her over getting voted off they have much bigger problems.

I like Vytas and Aras and John.

I think Tina and her daughter should go to Vytas and ask him to align with him and Aras after the merge for the final four.

We were down to the final eight!
Aras (me #1) lost the balance-get-the-ball-through-the-moving-maze-game. Tina won! ...after a miss on her first attempt. Me #2 (Vytas) came second.
Tina gave the hidden immunity idol clue to her daughter, Katie.
Bye, Vytas! I'm Jury Member #1.
...back to the game....
Katie was sure she knew where the idol was located...but she was shadowed by Laura...so didn't find it yet.
Tyson remains in charge.....
At the immunity challenge, Monica won...boy, is that woman strong!!!!!
Voting off Laura or Katie went back and forth the rest of the day.....
even Siena is plotting against her loved one....getting her further in the game (good).
So.....Katie is still safe.
Laura M. was voted off, and headed to Redemption Island.

GRAND FINALE IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15TH!

Trailer .... looks like Tyson's allies are turning against him ....

I'm looking forward who is looking forward to the next Survivor episode!

...getting ready for tonight's episode:

"Gloves Come Off"

Well, I'm out....joined my brother on the Jury.
I agree with you, Monica. I don't think it was fair of you to help Tina, but, hey, the moms are sticking together (not like one of their daughters ).

Good-bye, Caleb. I was really rooting for you. I hope Hayden and Katie can hang in there.

Tyson played his immunity idol, so that's one positive from tonight's episode.

Stay tuned for next week...six are left....three are on Redemption Island...

Regular episodes Dec. 4th and 11th; finale Sunday the 15th.

Yes, Lucky, you are the Queen of Redemption Island!
Sorry to see Caleb go, but he is on the jury and all three members, so far, have no love for Tyson, but I bet they do respect his game play.

..and the fact that it was only the second time in 27 seasons of Survivor that the tied vote was broken by rocks...and not even the original two (Hayden & Monica, with Gervase having immunity)were in jeopardy at this point.
Loved the excitement!
So, goodbye Katie....you played a good, under-the-radar game. But what will you and your mom, Tina, decide to do at the Redemption challenge? Trailers tease that maybe Tina will throw the challenge to her daughter. but .....

Now....thoughts here.....
I think next Wednesday we'll see the winner at Redemption return to the game, the other two will join the jury. That means we're back to 6 in the game.
So, is next week the family reunion episode?
When will there be two tribal councils?
Sunday the 15th is the two-hour finale.

...only six days to go....

Oh, that is horrible news.
So very sad....he was only 25, a passenger in the car.
No doubt Jeff will introduce next Wednesday's episode with a condolence message.

Well, that was an interesting show.

If Laura makes it back onto the tribe and Ciera somehow gets Monica over into a "girl" alliance. The tables will turn.

Go Ciera, you are the last non veteran playing.

ETA: correct spelling of Ciera.

I think you are right. If I come back. Next week it will be the 3 women at the end unless the guys win immunity.

I need to stay away from this thread until tomorrow.

So excited!!! It's going to be a late night. It's not starting on time because of football.

Does everybody watch the reunion show? I think it'll start off on a sad note because I'm sure Jeff will mention Tina's son's death.

Edited because I don't want to be the spoiler.

I appreciated Tina's message. I can't believe she was there, though. How is she functioning?

Congratulations to the winner, Tyson!
He received 7 of the 8 votes; Monica got 1.
Gervase - none.

But there was no Sprint Fan Favourite this season - that was disappointing! So nobody won $50K ???
My favourite player in the game was Ciera; on Redemption Island it was definitely Laura M.

I thought Tina did a great job getting back into the game; unfortunately, for both her and Ciera, Monica stayed firm in her alliance.

I thought the segment with Tina was sensitively handled, given the tight timeframe of the reunion show. As she said, the Survivor family/CBS, is also her family and she did want to relate the message of "buckling up" whenever you are in a vehicle. I thought she was very graceful and I admired her self-control and carriage. Tina is a winner in life! And so is her daughter, Katie.

I hope Ciera will consider participating in a future Survivor. She certainly has the smarts to go far in the game. Ciera and her mother are also winners, IMO.

....so on to February....
Survivor B-B-B
Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty ~ 3 tribes???

Looking forward to Season 28!

If I couldn't win (Laura/Ciera) I am glad Tyson won. He deserved it - wearing a target all season long and dodging those bullets when it counted.

I was happy to see Monica stick to her alliance, but glad Tyson gave the idol to Gervase. It was the right thing to do. And after all of Monica's ramblings at tribal, I wasn't sure she was going to stay loyal - I was yelling at the tv "PLAY IT!"

I was a little surprised they waited until the end to talk to Tina, but my guess is they discussed it and she didn't want to put a damper on the celebrations. That is one classy lady.

So will Cochran be back on the Brainy team?

I haven't seen the reunion show yet (went to bed with the kids as soon as Tyson won.)
My heart goes out to Tina. What a lovely lady she seems to be and such a tragedy.

I have to say that I was a little dissapointed with Laura M. after she lost. I thought Jeff was great in pointing out that to say "finish strong" does not mean all is for naught if you don't prevail in the end. Just MHO.
She fought hard and sometimes showing grace in defeat is as important as winning.

Can't wait for the next season in February.

ETA: Congrats to BrokenRoad (Tyson) Sole Survivor!

I'm sure we will, if we get enough people. I'll start a thread for it when it gets closer.
