I am really struggling today. I am waiting for my kids to come home from day with Douche Dad. I have been thinking a lot about a more permanent schedule, one where I do not have to see him so much- but nothing seems normal.

This is my family. I don't want to give up half their time. I don't think they are going to want to be staying in some apartment with him a few nights a week.

If he is the one that wanted to leave, why doesn't he just leave- and let us do what we were doing- we are just fine. He can visit them, but what does it look like when you really have "two households."

I have so much anxiety about all this. I am freaking out.....

It sucks, honey. It really does. But "normal" isn't the same thing post-D for the vast majority of people.

But it isn't the end of the world, either. I promise. The kids will likely adjust easier than you will. ((((hugs))))
