my biggest email pet peeve ever!

no subject in the subject line.

whenever I get an email like this, I HAVE TO put in a subject when I respond.

Am I the only who is severely bothered by this?

I think it's annoying, but I'm not severely bothered by it.

If it's a business email, it's somewhat annoying. If it's personal, I don't care at all.

Now, if it's one of those stupid chain emails that threatens me with death if I don't send it to 25 of my closest acquaintances...

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

This is a big one for me also. I usually wont open it. If it's not important enough for a subject, it's not important enough to read.

I really hate when people "Reply to all" also!

I get 150- 200 emails a day and most people have no idea what email etiquette is.

this is at work. Most of the times its from clients who use their Iphone (maybe I'm jealous they have an Iphone ) and sometimes its from co-workers, but not all the time.

Hey I'm just anal.

My email pet peeve is when someone types their entire message in the Subject field

"Don't give up, the beginning is always the hardest." My Mom:)

My tolerance for stupid shit is getting less and less.

Usually this just happens with people I know well so I don't mind. In fact I do it myself from time to time.

To me the subject line means "This is why you should bother to read my email" if I'm familiar with the person I don't need to be compelled so it can be redundant.

RE: RE:
Yes this makes me nuts.

The other thing I absolutely hate with work emails is when people all hit respond all for stupid inane things. Like your boss wants you all to vote for Pizza or Sandwiches for lunch. I seriously don't need an additional 20 emails with everyones votes. WTF is wrong with these people that they think everyone else gives a shit what they think.

When it would be so easy to set up a doodle/surveymonkey (or whatever).....

Not severely bothered (because I have so many other things to be severely bothered about now), but yes it is quite annoying. Especially when they think their message is so URGENT that they expect you to read and respond to it right away.

IF IT'S THAT FUCKING IMPORTANT THEN MAKE IT OBVIOUS!!!

Yeah, not severely bothered ...

Really Really Really hate this!!!

Not so bothered by the blank subject line... But then it rarely happens to me.

I don't get many personal emails and no one at work sends blank subjects.
