EXH called last night to let me know he will be back in town next week and then heading out to BC until Christmas.

Everyone has responded "oh poor DS, he won't get to see his dad." Yes I do feel bad for DS, but in all honesty he is so used to his dad not being home he doesn't seem too bothered by it.

What burns my biscuits is the fact that EXH had a choice. They told him if he had family things to deal with and would rather not go, they would not make him. So what it came down to is stay on his old schedule and see DS at least three more times until Christmas, or head out and make more money. I guess he chose the money.

I'm sorry, Ninebark. We have this too. DD's suffering is very evident, but X chooses a life away from her, all the while trying to claim he isn't.

Finally I don't say anything about it too him because it's easier that way.

I'm sorry for your frustration and your child's pain. I think it's one of the hardest parts.
