WOW!

I've flown over it dozens of times - I can't imagine how beautiful it is up close and personal.

Outstanding shots!

Yoga my foot! You were putting distance between you and the snake!

It looks like the trip of a lifetime. I'm envious but very proud and happy for you.

I was actually pretty ok with the snake until about 10:30pm when it started rattling right outside the tent. My SO broke a tent pole and put a splint on it, with electric tape, I was convinced it was going to collapse on me in the middle of the night and force me outside with the snake. I woke my sister up about every two hours in a panic that it was caving in

Beautiful!! Thanks for the great memories.

You weren't at all bothered by a rattlesnake? (SHUDDER!!!) Was it a Grand Canyon Pink? I saw one on one hike. The only place in the world they exist. Not many people see them.

Loved the photos. Thanks!

P.s. I didn't think Silver Bridge was bad.....

My phobias are all out of whack, I was excited to see a rattlesnake and petrified of a bridge

It helped that he kept his distance though. He was outside the rock circle of the camp and I watched him slither way back into the brush. I don't know what I'd have done if he'd hung around or came closer!

He looks pink doesn't he? I'm calling him pink.
