A banana, a bag of almonds, a container of apricots, two hard boiled eggs and chips.

All in their original store containers (except the banana and eggs)

We were in the middle of a conference room at the district office.

I'm not kidding you... we were in the middle of discussing textbooks that we may or may not adopt for the English department.

Seriously, who does this in a group of Middle School English teachers with publishers presenting materials?

I know! Someone who is south beaching and freaking starving. She probably thought it would be nicer to do that than eat her left foot.

Maybe...

I just thought it was really odd.

Oh... and if she was on a diet I don't know why... she was so thin a light breeze would've blown her away.

Seriously... rail thin.

jrc, I believe she was suffering from a lack of manners. Unfortunately it's an all too common affliction these days.

I brought snacks too... but I waited for break time to eat them.

Another woman had four different drinks in front of her.

It's amazing what you see in staff developments/district meetings.

Only if you don't share!

Yeah, well, we ended the Foster Care program... it was too costly.

But seriously, how do you guys do it?

Not a small one or discrete one... but a whole friggin' grocery store worth? All sitting out at once...

And no, she didn't share.

Well, seeing as our last text book adoption was in 2000, I'd say we're overdue...

I'm not sure where they're finding the money...
