VERY excited. That show is just so damn good. Funny, because when you try to explain it to someone that doesn't watch all that comes out is "Zombies, Gore, Apocalypse, Really good character development". And they look at you like you are insane.
But it is soooooo much less about the zombies than the amazing story line and the realizations it gives you about humans in general.
I just love it. It's consistently has me literally sitting on the edge of my seat.

My son and daughter! They have been bombing each other on FB with Walking Dead posts. I've never watched. Don't intend to. I have always disliked zombie/undead stuff. Gross. Don't know where my kids got it!

It's more about the end of civilization as we now know it and trying to rebuild with this constant threat looming over them (both from the zombies and other humans).

I personally really love horror movies/zombies - all that stuff. But for a series to be this popular for this amount of time, you need more than just zombies to keep it going.

When my son suggested I watch this I asked him what it was about. When he said zombies I laughed and said "You can't be serious!". He talked me into watching a couple of episodes and I was hooked.

My H had the same reaction as me. I almost had to tie him to the chair to get him to watch.

Now we both can't wait for the next series. Only a day later in Oz thank goodness!

Every new season of WD gives me a new excuse to watch all the previous seasons again...to get caught up of course!

I have to say that watching the that Talking Dead show that is after (way to rip off of the after show that Deadliest Catch did btw)....the episode made a little bit more sense...however.

1. The minute that Glenn
didnt want his girl to go out on a run I knew there was either a baby or a baby scare.

2. The minute they showed up to the Mart someone was going to die.

3. Bob has a story....

4. Clara should have gotten more time. Knew instantly that her husband was either a walk or she was imagining him, but still, her character added mystery to what felt like a very predictable show....and Rick should have killed her and smashed the head.

5. Military still amass in locations? So, are they rogue? Is there a goverment reforming? How many people are really out there?

As far as Glenn and Maggie, I just thought he didn't want her to go on a run to protect her. I didn't even think of a "possible" baby.

It was still a different way of doing it...it's raining walkers.

I'm glad Clara is gone. She freaked me out.

Has the infection evolved and spread to the animals? Is that infection what ended up killing the kid at the end of the show? Since Daryl killed the deer and the kid came in contact with Daryl and the deer, I just wondered if that is how it was transmitted.

Well, we all know that everyone is a carrier not matter how you die you come back...

wonder if this virus is morphing and the kid was the first to get the handshake STD?

I hope there are no more pregnancies. I always hate that plot line in any show.

I thought the show flew by, but my spouse thought it was boring. He also totally pegged there is a new showrunner, which I had missed.

I hope there are no more pregnancies.

As much as i agree, I also think as a show, they need them.

Part of the show is OMG ZOMBIES ARE EATING YOUR FACE...and the other part of the show is this group of people who are trying to not only survive but to continue life.

This walking dead is a new normal - and with any new normal, you have to learn to live in that newness. Part of that is the creation of new life.

As a writer, you can not ignore life.
