So the now ex-in laws are coming next week for a visit. They of course will be staying with Gnat and Hello Kitty. XMIL just called to say that she wants to do lunch or dinner one day. She is also planning to attend Dd's birthday party (gnat is not invited).

The whole conversation made me sad. I've always gotten along with my in-laws and I feel like they're MY family. Now that skank Hello Kitty is going to spend the week kissing their asses pretending not to be the whore she really is.

My XFIL has cancer and is not doing well. So this could be the last time that I see him. It makes me sad that I won't even be able to go to the funeral because if that dumb whore. I hate the Gnat and I hate Hello Kitty. Two disgusting people that have robbed me of so much.

Just feeling sad about it all.

NS-

I'm so sorry that you are feeling sad about this sitch.

I just wanted to add that it seems your xmil is interested in remaining in your children's lives and by proxy yours?

Regarding the funeral...if distance/travel is not a problem...I would not let the gnat and hk stop you or your dd (if age appropriate) from going. EVER.

((hugs))

Thanks. Yes , she has been very supportive and feels terrible about what has happened. She cried when our divorce was final. She keeps telling me "he wasn't raised like this". I remind her that I know that and don't blame her or FIL for any of it.

As for the funeral, I would have to travel out of state for it and I'm not sure that I could handle seeing the two of them schmoozing the family together. I would probably just let them bring the kids and I'd send flowers or something.

I hate them too~!

But if you can go to any funerals - they are about the deceased (not about the other guests)
Pay your respects and know that you have a pure adgenda

I feel your pain.
My ILs are awesome. My MIL sobbed in my arms when she finally got the whole story. She said basically the same thing yours did.
She kept praying that Shrekf...er would come to his senses.
They both have ailments. I will NOT let him or Shrek keep me from a funeral if it ever comes to that. ALL of my ILs, BILs, SILs, FIL and MIL want nothing to do with Shrek and they absolutely adore me for raising their two grandsons when I didn't have to.
I love them, and they will always be my family too!
Sending support and hugs your way!

I don't need further confirmation of what a fuckwit he is. I already have plenty, thanks very much. -SBB

I miss my XSILs.

I wouldn't be able to attend a funeral with him either. I would honour them in my own way.

In my area, funeral homes will let you visit outside set visitor's hours. I realize that is probably not an option for you since you are geographically not close to them. Just wanted to let you know incase it was something you wanted to do....you can go without seeing anyone else.

X-ILs - I am glad they are reaching out to you guys.
